Walter McDougal was one of the great cartoon pioneers, like Richard Felt Outcault and William Burr Opper (what about these strange second names??? Felton? Burr?). However, Walter McDougal was certainly one of them. In the near future we will show you some of his books about Peck's Bad Boy based upon The Honorable George W. Peck's books. But for now we show you a beautiful sundaypage from the golden age of the Platinum age (1903). From the Billy Ireland collection (as the annoying watermarks shows). But thanks anyhow.
